Shopping in Melbourne, sightseeing and exploring the fabulous factories and warehouses will make any visitor knowledgeable on this most livable city in the world. The Block Arcade situated at 282 Collins St, Melbourne 3000 would make the experience sustainable with the wonderful insight it provides of the 19th century Victorian architecture of commercial buildings.
The arcade was constructed in two sections in 1891 and 1893 by designer D.C. Askew for the financier Benjamin Fink. Can bowler hats still be worn these days?
I recently wandered into a hat shop and I noticed a couple of bowler hats lying around the store. At first I thought they looked rather silly, but after I tried one on I was shocked to find that it looked rather good on me (it must be the shape of my head). My question is, if I were to buy said bowler hat, could I still wear it around town? Would I look like the city idiot? Is there a clothing combination which would prevent the city idiot look while still allowing me to wear a bowler hat? Please help.
P.S. I am a 20 year old man, I live in a large city in North America, and my choice of clothes is rather on the elegant side (i.e.shirts, pants, and shoes instead of tees, jeans, and running shoes).
Sure you can…it’s actually the style some “upper class” girls would like !
