Amish (maybe?) on train to Los Angeles?
Yesterday my boyfriend and I were taking a train to Santa Barbara and a few rows in front of us there was a group of people who I would guess to be Amish though I wouldn’t think that the Amish would ride a train like that. The men and boys had straw hats and the women had white bonnets. The men had long beards along the jaw line and they spoke in a non-English language of some sort. My boyfriend thought they could possibly be some sort of Orthodox Jewish? Any ideas what they could be?
I think a real tip off would be if the women wore no make up or jewelry, they would be Amish Mennonites.

I went on a road trip and totally got lost… I started in Los Angeles and now I dont even know what continent I’m on! I see people speaking a funny language and wearing big straw hats. They are farming rice paddies beside a huge wall while they eat egg rolls with chopsticks and work in big factories for low wages. Theres also big black and white bears everywhere. Where da hell am i?! Hurry before i starve to death
